Outsiders watched the spectacle, while insiders understood the finer points.
Ordinary people gazed at the clusters of flowers blooming in an instant and assumed it was some Literary Scholar's divine ability. After all, the Capital had no shortage of Literary Scholars. The more knowledgeable Literary Scholars guessed more specifically: someone had likely gained the recognition of Heaven and Earth and triggered a response from them.
"It seems to be an auspicious omen. I wonder who caused it?"
Auspicious omens were not exactly common, but neither were they as ordinary as cabbages sold by the roadside. Some people also noticed that something was wrong.

As soon as this was said, the surrounding colleagues also realized it.
Some even quieted their minds and sensed their Dantians.
