His eyes were pitch-black, like a bottomless pool. Gan Ruoxu felt himself being sucked inside, sinking deep into endless darkness, where he could make out only faint, glittering points in the distance.
It was a true universe, yet Gan Ruoxu also felt it was his own Mind World. Every thought and every will was hidden in darkness, cut off from one another and impossible to see through.
Just then, he noticed a hazy, chaotic seed emerge from the depths of the darkness. It was identical to the one in his mind. Then it slowly transformed into a Daoist who seemed to contain all things and yet was only a single point. His appearance, aura, and bearing were exactly like those of the Green Robed Daoist seated in the center of the Three Pure Dao Ancestors inside the Jade Void Palace.
For some reason, a thought naturally arose in Gan Ruoxu's mind:
This is Daoist Yuan Shi!
The instant Yuan Shi appeared, he Opened Heaven and Earth. Boundless light burst forth, illuminating the endless darkness completely. Gan Ruoxu's sea of mind emerged alongside it. Though it was shrouded in mist, glimmers of gold could be seen concealed within its waters.
Once this heart shone, darkness would never return!
Above the sea of mind, Daoist Yuan Shi sat cross-legged with his eyes closed. There was no knowing what was above or below, what was before or behind. He formed seals with both hands: one hand was pure yang, brimming with vitality; the other was utmost yin, thick with Death Intent. Beneath him lay a stretch of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, with Seal Script characters rising and sinking within it, as though it were some kind of forbidden art.
At the sight of this scene, Gan Ruoxu naturally withdrew from his visualization
