The sealed meeting room was quiet except for the faint hum of the projector.
Its beam struck the screen precisely, illuminating rows of encryption labels.
Beside the long table stood a blonde female officer in a wine red uniform. Facing the attendees, she calmly presented the information displayed on the screen.
"At 8:45 yesterday morning, an alien in silver armor broke into the Angel International Building in Tianhe City.
After a thorough investigation, we confirmed that she was a female alien from the Angel Nebula.
According to the records of the Super Seminary, they call their civilization the Angel Civilization, and call themselves angels."
"For the past thirty thousand years, the Angel Clan has consisted entirely of beautiful women. According to the last recorded information, it has been 1,392 years since then."
After she finished the briefing, she turned slightly and looked toward the seat at the head of the table on the upper right.
There, a stern-looking, middle-aged officer in military uniform gave a slight nod. Then he looked at the attendees below and said gravely, "At present, our knowledge of the Angel Civilization is extremely limited. If we were to go solely by the Angel Scriptures, they seem to consider themselves the King of Gods."
"As far as I can remember, I've heard many times of wars breaking out between angels and demons, but we've never had any direct contact with them.
"The Angel Civilization has always pursued its own concept of justice. We still don't know what their arrival on Earth means.
"So, if conditions allow, we should try our best to establish contact with them."
As he spoke, he leaned forward slightly, his tone growing more emphatic:
"Moreover, neither Earth's technology nor Deno Three can track their movements at all. They've surpassed the Deno Civilization."
Finally, the middle-aged officer looked across the meeting table at a woman in a black trench coat and asked solemnly, "All right, about the Taotie who attacked Airport Road last night... Lena, what are your thoughts?"
Lena, who had been lost in thought, came back to herself. During her explanation, Lena even paused to patiently clarify the concept of "God" for one of the officers in civilian clothes.
Once she had made herself clear, she followed the steps they had discussed beforehand and formally proposed the Black Great Wall plan.
The so-called Black Great Wall plan meant that if an extraterrestrial civilization tried to invade Earth or directly interfere with the Earth Civilization Program on a large scale, the Super Seminary would work with the local government. Guided by the plan, they would quickly move toward forming Shenhe-class military units and secretly create a batch of War God-class combat units for Earth to protect its security.
Not interfering lightly in the course of a civilization was an ironclad rule the Super Seminary had followed since its founding.
The Super Seminary had arrived on Earth a thousand years ago, but it had not established formal contact with Earth's government or begun exchanging civilization-level technology until today. That was precisely because of this principle.
After all, when two civilizations were vastly unequal, the moment a higher-level extraterrestrial civilization intervened, the native civilization would be powerless to resist. It could only become a subordinate, or even lose its autonomy entirely.
Such conduct went against the moral principles of the Shenhe Civilization, and the Super Seminary, which had originated from the Shenhe Civilization, had always upheld this principle.
Even the Angel Civilization, Deno Civilization, and Lieyang Civilization, which the Super Seminary had visited before, had only been approached because they were already qualified to speak with the Super Seminary.
Even when these civilizations received technology from the Super Seminary, they could still maintain their independence. That was what a genuine exchange between civilizations looked like.
Otherwise, to put it bluntly, unilateral technological aid was colonial invasion!

"Qiangwei, go ahead," Lianfeng said softly, turning her head slightly toward Du Qiangwei.
Du Qiangwei stood up and walked to the other side of the long table. She operated the projector, changing the image to a portrait of a man: silver-white hair fell to his shoulders, and his ice-blue eyes held a distant chill.
The information beside it read: Si Yao, unknown extraterrestrial arrival, under observation for six months, security level undetermined, age unknown.
Seeing the photo, Lena's lips curled into a teasing smile. "Ooh, he's pretty handsome. Don't tell me he's your boyfriend?"
Du Qiangwei shot Lena an exasperated look and said seriously, "Before I formally introduce this person, I need to go over the issues we discussed in the meeting. That includes the angel who arrived at the Angel International Building in Tianhe City and the Taotie attack on Airport Road last night."
She paused, then drew a deep breath and continued, "Two days ago, this person told me these things would happen."
Lena stared at her. "Told you in advance? What do you mean?"
"I mean exactly what I said," Du Qiangwei replied.
"He told me a birdman would fall from the sky, smash someone's window, and trespass in their home."
"And that lowly monkeys who like to wrap themselves in iron shells were coming, too."
"Birdman? Lowly monkeys?" Lena's expression turned uneasy.
Angels and Taotie?
Jace stroked his chin, pondering for a moment before asking, "Could he have received some reliable information ahead of time, and that's how he knew?"
Lianfeng shook her head gently and analyzed, "It's possible someone could have caught wind of a Taotie attack beforehand, but it would be almost impossible to know for certain that an angel was coming."
Lena looked baffled. "You're not about to tell me... this guy has the Precognition Ability, are you?"
She paused, then explained, "A supermassive Celestial Supercomputer like the one on our Lieyang Star, Tiandao Tower, can use vast and complex calculations to simulate the workings and evolution of the Known Universe. But even then, that isn't true precognition."
"Because if you know the future now, that future becomes the past. And if the present that knows about this future changes it, then that future is no longer the future. That's the classic Precognition Paradox!"
"From a scientific perspective, precognition is simply impossible."
Lianfeng nodded slightly, her gaze still fixed on the data analysis interface. "That's true in theory. But given this person's various actions, we can't rule out the possibility that he possesses some kind of Precognition Ability."
Lena froze, and Dukao also turned a puzzled look toward Lianfeng.
If Qiangwei, who didn't know much about technology, had suspected this, they could understand. But Lianfeng, one of the few "high-level intellectuals" at Earth's Super Seminary—how could she entertain such an unrealistic idea?
