Lily looked displeased as she replaced the missing parts in the spacecraft herself.
She also worked on the Repair Ship's power system.
But how could she possibly repair the Repair Ship's power system?
She was a pilot, not a computer expert who knew how to work on spacecraft systems.
"Zhuoya, check the Ling Dong's current status."
Lily's calm voice rang through the ship.
"Detected a new Superluminal Acceleration Drive installed on the Ling Dong. The Interstellar Jump program has been restored to normal. System failure detected. Interstellar Jump is temporarily unavailable."
Zhuoya's voice sounded beside Lily's ear.
"I know."
Lily understood that even with a new Superluminal Drive Engine installed, a system failure would prevent them from initiating an Interstellar Jump.
It wasn't that they couldn't use it.
She just didn't want anything to go wrong. They had to make sure the ship was intact before attempting an Interstellar Jump, so it could travel safely through the Space Wormhole.
"Repair the system?"
At that, Lily couldn't help feeling troubled.
She really had no idea how to fix a system.
"Lily, maybe I can help you."
Just then, Xiao An popped out from the side and said with a grin.
He was a computer genius. Surely repairing a system wouldn't be a problem.
"You?"
Lily looked at the child uncertainly, then shook her head. "I really don't believe you."
At once,
Xiao An's face darkened, and he looked utterly dejected. "Come on, Sis Lily. I'm a computer genius! You can't crush my confidence like that."
"Sis Lily, maybe you could copy the system files from Big Brother Ye's ship, then reinstall them on the Ling Dong," Yaoyao suggested tentatively, watching Lily with uncertainty.
"No."
