The Immortal King status?
The Immortal standing there immediately paled at those words. Looking at Ye Xingchen, who did not seem to be lying, he nodded excitedly.
"Rest assured, Master. As long as I am here, I will guard this place for you to the very end."
Ye Xingchen nodded calmly. Looking at the Immortal before him, he said nothing more and waved his hand. The stone coffin instantly opened, revealing a seven-colored radiance within. At the sight, the Immortal beside him immediately retreated several meters.
The instant he saw that seven-colored radiance, he distinctly felt something stir in his soul.
Only after Ye Xingchen entered did he slowly approach the coffin. Looking at it, now closed again, a trace of fear appeared in his eyes. He glanced around, then transformed into a stone statue to stand guard there.
After entering the stone coffin, Ye Xingchen seemed to have arrived in a dark place. Looking at the pitch-black surroundings, there was not a trace of fear in his eyes, for he knew he was now underground-or, more precisely, in the sleeping grounds of the Burial Clan.
After walking for an unknown length of time, Ye Xingchen saw a light ahead and slowly approached it. The moment he stepped out into the light, a hint of a smile appeared in his eyes, for on the plain ahead stood one burial mound after another.
Before each mound stood a stone tablet bearing a name. Ye Xingchen smiled faintly upon arriving and pressed his palms together as he said:
"Burial King, I am here!"
