In the village, the monsters' attack had left all the villagers trembling in fear, too afraid to step outside their homes. Yet as the presences outside drew closer and closer, everyone knew these were the final moments of their lives.
Just as everyone was gripped by fear, a reporter carrying a camera stepped forward. His hair tied in a high ponytail, he glanced at the others and pointed toward the gate outside.
"If you all stay here, you'll only die. Charge out, and you'll have a sliver of hope! Our army will be here soon. Hurry and run!"
The villagers' expressions changed at his words. Looking at the reporter who had bravely stepped forward, they all seemed encouraged and immediately rushed outside. But before they could take more than a couple of steps, the monsters blocked their way.
