Chapter Summaries

Dongfang Chen killed Luo Mian with a single punch after Lingling recorded Luo Mian trying to seize the Jade Dew Powder and attacking her. Dongfang Chen and Lingling headed to deliver the medicine while Tang Yue stayed to guard the molting Mysterious Snake, and the chapter left the West Fortress facing an enormous White Demon Eagle assault led by the Silver Dome Lord.

• Dongfang Chen punched Luo Mian into a cloud of blood mist, and Lingling confirmed her camera had recorded Luo Mian’s crimes.
• Dongfang Chen recovered Luo Mian’s Shield Magic Tool, which Lingling refused to keep, then prepared to deliver the medicine with her.
• Tang Yue stayed behind to guard the Mysterious Snake as it molted, while Dongfang Chen said he had a way to deal with the Monarch Level Demon.
• Dongfang Chen flew toward the West Fortress with Lingling as White Demon Eagles crowded the skies and attacked the human defenders.

Zhu Meng and the other Archmages fought the Silver Dome Lord but could not break through its defenses, and Wu Pingjing was gravely wounded. Dongfang Chen arrived carrying Lingling and kicked the Great Lord out of the sky, leaving the Archmages stunned.

• Zhu Meng, Li Tian, Tang Zhong, and Yun Feng attacked the ten Four-Clawed Demon Eagles while the Silver Dome Lord interfered, and they killed six at the cost of heavy injuries and depleted Magic energy.
• Zhu Meng charged into the Silver Dome Lord’s Blade Domain with his Elemental Battle Armor so the others could cast Archmage Magic.
• Tang Zhong struck the Silver Dome Lord with Hellfire Gate, but its steel-like feathers blocked most of the flames and it escaped into the sky.

Dongfang Chen returned to the battle above Hangzhou, gave Zhu Meng the Jade Dew Powder, and revealed that he had killed Luo Mian, the plague’s true culprit. As the Silver Dome Lord sent its White Demon Eagle Legion toward the city, Dongfang Chen summoned Xue Yue, whose Monarch-level aura stunned the Archmages.

• Dongfang Chen handed Zhu Meng the Jade Dew Powder and said he would deal with the Silver Dome Lord.
• Dongfang Chen told Zhu Meng and the others that he had killed Luo Mian, the true culprit behind the plague.
• The Silver Dome Lord recovered, called its White Demon Eagle Legion, and sent the eagles toward Hangzhou to divide Dongfang Chen’s attention.

Dongfang Chen and Snow Woman stopped the White Demon Eagles and drove Silver Dome Lord into retreat, then pursued it outside Hangzhou. Dongfang Chen battered Silver Dome Lord and killed it with a Soul Thorn, leaving its body intact for his intended use.

• Snow Woman froze the White Demon Eagles with her Ice Snow Domain, forcing Silver Dome Lord to call off the attack and retreat.
• Dongfang Chen pursued Silver Dome Lord with Snow Woman while asking her to preserve its corpse.
• Snow Woman took Lingling into her care, and Lingling asked to call her Sister Xue Yue.
• Dongfang Chen repeatedly punched Silver Dome Lord, destroying its Blade Domain and severely injuring it.

Dongfang Chen killed the Silver Dome Lord, collected its Monarch Level Soul Essence and body, and secured a promise of additional rewards. With the White Demon Eagles retreating and the Plague Disease under control, Tang Yue arrived with the recovered Mysterious Snake and learned that Zhu Meng no longer considered it a threat.

• Zhu Meng and Tang Zhong found the Silver Dome Lord's corpse and were astonished that Dongfang Chen had killed it.
• Dongfang Chen collected the Monarch Level Soul Essence and stored the Silver Dome Lord's body, then asked Zhu Meng and Tang Zhong for special metals as his reward.

• After spending several days with Tang Yue in Hangzhou, Dongfang Chen left for Magic City, planning to meet Nalan Yanran (Mu Ningxue) and help establish a new Misty Cloud Sect.
• Dongfang Chen returned to his Magic City home and rested until Ai Tu Tu and the other girls came back from Mingzhu Academy.

Dongfang Chen traveled with Lingling to meet Mu Ningxue and establish a force in Jinlin City, which he had cleared of Demons. The group arrived to find Zi Shi and Zi Shuang waiting, and Lingling discovered that Little Purple could take human form.

• Dongfang Chen told Lingling he planned to establish a clan in Jinlin City under Mu Ningxue's name, and Lingling began handling the paperwork.
• Dongfang Chen, Lingling, and Mu Ningxue traveled from the Imperial Capital through Kangning City to Jinlin City.
• Mu Ningxue found Jinlin City and its surroundings cleared of Demons and explained that she wanted to move the Bocheng Mu Family there.
• Zi Shuang greeted Dongfang Chen by clinging to him, while Zi Shi lifted her away and then greeted him herself.

Dongfang Chen and Mu Ningxue learned Zi Shi and Zi Shuang’s identities, and the Military Department confirmed that Jinlin City was safe enough for preliminary settlement. Li Man presented two plans for rebuilding the city, and Dongfang Chen rejected the first before hearing the second.

• Dongfang Chen confirmed there were no Demons threatening Jinlin City, contacted the Military Department, and Lingling prepared a safety certificate.
• Li Man’s team inspected Jinlin City and judged its Demon threat low enough to meet the preliminary standard for settlement.
• Li Man asked Dongfang Chen on a date, but Lingling objected and showed her Hunter Master badge; Dongfang Chen politely declined.
• Li Man proposed that the Military Department provide a City Core and Guardian Barrier in exchange for seventy percent of the resources, and Dongfang Chen rejected the plan.

Dongfang Chen and Mu Ningxue secured Jinlin City under the Military Department’s second proposal, and Dongfang Chen received the Cloud Smoke Covering Sun Array as the first reward for rebuilding the Misty Cloud Sect. Jinlin City remained in ruins, leaving the rebuilding unfinished and the Bone Spirit Cold Flame reward still pending.

• Dongfang Chen chose the second proposal, agreeing to let the Military Department garrison Jinlin City in exchange for thirty percent of its resources, and assured Li Man he could build the Guardian Barrier himself.
• Mu Ningxue completed the territory transfer and thanked Dongfang Chen before kissing him, while Lingling watched jealously and lamented that her age kept her from going further with him.

• Bai Mandan found that her savings could not cover an assassination of Dongfang Chen and decided to seek information about his girlfriends instead.
• Bai Mandan called Bai Manyu, her sister and the Bai Family head, and pretended she wanted to apologize to Dongfang Chen.
• Bai Manyu gave Bai Mandan Dongfang Chen’s address and advised her to apologize sincerely and consider winning over his girlfriends.
• After the call, Bai Mandan revealed she still intended to make Dongfang Chen suffer and did not care if the Bai Family got involved.

Dongfang Chen balanced Jinlin City's reconstruction with his cultivation as Bai Mandan hired an Assassin Hall killer to target one of the women around him. Before leaving to supervise construction, he received a visit from Xue Xing, who replenished her Magic energy through a special method and suggested bringing her sister Xue Yue next time.

• Dongfang Chen's Dou Qi cultivation rose from Four-star to Five-star Dou Emperor while he traveled between Jinlin City and Magic City to oversee reconstruction.
• Bai Mandan met a hooded Assassin Hall killer and gave him information on Dongfang Chen's girlfriends, asking him to kill whichever one seemed easiest to target.
• The Assassin Hall killer promised to complete the assassination within three days, and Bai Mandan celebrated the suffering she hoped to cause Dongfang Chen.
• Dongfang Chen spent the morning with Ai Xiao Tu and Jiao Jiao, then prepared to supervise Jinlin City's construction so he could obtain Bone Spirit Cold Flame sooner.

Dongfang Chen summoned Xue Qiu and took Zi Shi to Jinlin City, while Ai Tu Tu and Mu Nu Jiao headed to Mingzhu Academy for Ding Yumian’s Fire Institute test. On their way, Bei Jiang ambushed them, but Ai Tu Tu used her newly awakened Light Magic to break his Shadow Element restraint.

• Dongfang Chen summoned Xue Qiu, who helped him change clothes before following him as Ice Smoke.
• Dongfang Chen left for Jinlin City with Zi Shi, who offered him breakfast and planned to deter magical beasts from returning.
• Ai Tu Tu woke Mu Nu Jiao, and the two hurried to Mingzhu Academy to cheer Ding Yumian on at the Fire Institute test.

Bei Jiang attacked Mu Nu Jiao and Ai Tu Tu in a busy market, but the Silver Dome Lord's puppet protected them. Dongfang Chen arrived and stopped Bei Jiang from escaping, vowing to kill him.

• Bei Jiang trapped Mu Nu Jiao and Ai Tu Tu in a Black Demon Pool and demanded that one of them die in exchange for the other's life.
• Bei Jiang used Shadow Judgment Throat Seal to send their shadows after them, but a powerful gust knocked the shadows away.
• The Silver Dome Lord's puppet appeared and blocked Bei Jiang as the Judgment Department, Magic Association, and an Archmage responded to the disturbance.

Dongfang Chen confronted Bei Jiang, an Assassin Hall Craftsman who attacked him and escaped through the shadows. Tracking Bei Jiang with Soul Power, Dongfang Chen struck him with a Soul Hand Seal and shattered his Mind Magic Tool, leaving Bei Jiang terrified and desperate to flee.

• Bei Jiang attacked Dongfang Chen with Shadow Birds, but Dongfang Chen burned them away and declared that the Assassin Hall should be destroyed.
• Bei Jiang used a shadow attack, but Dongfang Chen escaped with Shadow Substitute and countered; both men evaded each other before Bei Jiang vanished into the shadows.
• An Archmage from the Mingzhu Magic Tower arrived, and Mu Nu Jiao recalled the Silver Dome Lord puppet at Dongfang Chen's request.

Meanwhile, the Mu Clan gathered to debate how to respond to Dongfang Chen, with Mu Rong presiding and the elders divided over whether to resist him.

• Dongfang Chen used Soul Power to kill Bei Jiang, then resolved to hold Assassin Hall, the Bai Family, and Bai Mandan accountable for the attack.
• Dongfang Chen ordered Butler Sai to take the enforcement team and surround the Bai Family while he went to the Mu Family.
