The Main Story Is Complete-Time to Celebrate, Plus an Extra

I officially started writing this book on March 12, 2025, and finished the main story on January 6, 2026.

It took ten months minus six days to reach a smooth landing. Congratulations all around!

Now the author can share a few thoughts.

The opening of this book was a disaster. A lot of people thought Xianzhou natives were naturally superhuman and, in theory, should completely overpower martial artists who had never even left their planet.

All I can say is, they clearly hadn't read Mufang's story. Let me share an excerpt.

She was an alchemist in the Xianzhou Alchemy Commission. Because her abilities were limited, she wanted to go show off on a backwater planet.

But on a planet whose civilization had only been around for a thousand years, she couldn't even escape from prison without an Aurumaton's help.

As you can imagine, if we're talking only about physical strength and not regenerative abilities, Xianzhou natives aren't that different from ordinary people. At least, the gap isn't anything like the one between a superhuman and an ordinary person.

The same goes for the Vidyadhara. Their supposedly innate extra strength probably amounts to the difference between an average couch potato and a personal trainer. It definitely isn't enough to make them impossible to hurt.

Anyway, whether or not the author's reasoning was right, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba world was a failure. (No amount of the author's frustration could change that.)

The original reason the author wrote Demon Slayer was that demons seemed like creations of Abundance, and the plan was to have the Hunt and Abundance clash in that world.

Since readers weren't interested, that world could only be wrapped up in a hurry.

So, the Demon Slayer world really was a failure. The plot threads I'd set up
