The group followed Shine Brilliant through a relatively quiet corridor beside the main venue and arrived at a temporary area behind the racetrack.
"This is the place." Shine Brilliant stopped and turned around, introducing it warmly. "The facilities are a little limited, but they'll be enough to warm up and get a feel for the track."
"Thank you so much, Senior Shine Brilliant!" Hokubu Genkoma thanked her again, then curiously began looking around the area.
It seemed to be part of the racetrack's usual training grounds. For the carnival, a section had been set aside and fitted with simple barriers and signs to serve as a warm-up area for the Uma Musume taking part.
The facilities looked rather basic, but the ground was level and the view was open, with a clear sight of the official track not far away.
"Don't mention it."
Shine Brilliant smiled, her gaze passing over Hokubu Genkoma as she surveyed the area, then over Anmokume, who stood behind her in silence, focused, and Chunqiu Fen, who looked a little curious.
"Go ahead and take a look around and get familiar with the place. If you need anything, just ask one of the staff members. I still have to check on the final race schedule with Oguri... Oguri Cap and the others."
"Of course! Go ahead and take care of your business. Don't worry about us!" Hokubu Genkoma quickly assured her.
Shine Brilliant nodded, gestured to Yasui Makoto and the others, then turned and headed in the opposite direction from the main venue.
Watching Shine Brilliant leave, Hokubu Genkoma immediately turned to Anmokume and Chunqiu Fen, her face alight with anticipation.
"Anmokume, Xiao Fen, we've still got a little time. How about we move around a bit and get used to the track and surroundings?"
"Mm!"
