Background / History

Vodka and Yamato Akagi became known as the “Peerless Duo” after challenging the long-standing belief that female Uma Musume were inherently weaker than male competitors. Their first racetrack meeting became a prolonged final-straight duel; Vodka won the Tulip Sho, with the pair finishing 6 horse lengths ahead of third place, while Yamato reclaimed victory in the following Oka Sho. 33
