Beside the campfire in the cave, Yan Lin tore into the Soft Bone Rabbit, roasted crisp on the outside and tender within. Fat dripped from its thigh into the flames, and the blazing fire leapt up in eager celebration.
The rich aroma of the Soft Bone Rabbit filled the deep cave. Yan Lin shared half of the rabbit in his hands with Yun Yun, who was seated beside him.
"Here, half each."
"Thank you."
Yun Yun gave Yan Lin a slight nod. After thanking him, she accepted the roasted rabbit from his hand.
Perhaps it was because she had already had the assorted soup, or perhaps she was simply like this by nature, but Yun Yun ate slowly and elegantly.
Tearing off a small piece of rabbit meat, Sect Master Yun's red lips moved gently. Her graceful manner of chewing slowly was a pleasing sight.
With one bite, the fragrance lingered on her lips and teeth, and the flavor left Yun Yun thoroughly amazed.
Yun Yun stared intently at the roasted rabbit in her hand, her eyes now carrying a hint of craving for fine food. "This tastes so good. How did you make it?"
This was not her first time eating roasted rabbit, but none she had eaten before had tasted as good as Yan Lin's.
That first bite had greatly whetted Sect Master Yun's appetite.
As she spoke, she tore off an even larger piece of rabbit meat and began eating it. She still ate elegantly, but noticeably faster now, satisfaction written across her face.
Unconsciously stirred by the rabbit meat in his hands, Yan Lin casually replied before taking a big bite and chewing.
"Isn't it something anyone with hands can do?"
