Questions and Answers
This chapter isn't part of the main story. It's made up of reader comments from today and yesterday, along with my replies. I found them quite interesting, so I thought I'd let you have a look.
Today's chapter won't be any shorter.
Comment: Where's the author?
Reply: (⊙o⊙)...
The author is right here.
Comment: Author, you're so cruel! Hermione is only a first-year, yet you could actually bring yourself to do that to her. And you're even planning to build a harem, aren't you? Baka yarou—
Reply: Why do I get such a strange feeling when I read what you said?
If you're a girl, I think what you actually meant was:
Author, you're amazing. You could do that to Hermione when she's only a first-year—I love reading this kind of thing. What, you're even planning to build a harem? Shameless, but I like it! Keep it up, Author!!
Ahem... Am I right?
Comment: May I ask how many updates the author posts a day?
Reply: Hehe.
All I can say is, dare I ask where the road lies?
Such a profound question can wait until I'm eighteen.

Comment: Liu Yanchang was actually a heartless man, and at the beginning, his son didn't have the courage to save his mother either. It was all because Third Holy Mother had such a good brother, who cast a spell to make Liu Yanchang devoted to her, then gradually tempered Chenxiang. And Buddhism was involved in the story too. In the end, Chenxiang became some kind of Buddha—I forgot which one. Like Sun Wukong, he became a Buddhist guardian.
Reply: Stop, I hate Liu Yanchang too much. When I first watched it as a child, I thought he was far too ordinary, bland, and annoying. He simply wasn't worthy of the fairy Third Holy Mother. Back then, I thought Third Holy Mother was incredibly, incredibly beautiful. I especially liked her ^_^
Comment: Today I saw someone badmouthing the author, and I felt really sad for you. After all, fanfiction is generally written purely out of love for the source material; people don't write it to make money. Even though you didn't get into Slytherin, I'll keep supporting you! Keep it up!
Reply: I don't know who you are, but I'm deeply, deeply moved.
When people insult me, I don't insult them back. I only reply calmly.
I told myself that it was actually rather interesting.
But just now, when I saw what you said, that feeling of excitement, elation, and bitterness...
So I did care all along.
Thank you.
Comment: Replying to @Luo Bei: ╭(°a°`)╮ Stay calm, Author. Qidian fanfiction can't make money anyway. You write for the love of it. If it's enjoyable and completed, readers will praise you; if it's bad or gets dropped, at most they'll say it's a pity and leave. Anyone who swears at or insults the author simply lacks basic manners. Author-kun, there's no need to take it to heart.
Reply: Thank you. I'm Author-kun, haha. I won't take it to heart.
Comment: Yeah, people who insult others generally have pretty low standards. We won't stoop to their level.
Reply: Thank you. I feel much better. o(∩_∩)o Haha~
Comment: I don't like Cho Chang. I didn't like her when I read the books back then, and Movie Cho Chang was even more disappointing.
Reply: After all, when reading, everyone comes away with a different understanding.
I'll do my best to write her in a way that won't make you dislike Cho Chang.
Could you tell me why you dislike Cho Chang?
:-d
Comment: Luo Bei, you haven't updated for days. Don't tell me you're about to drop the novel!!!
Reply: (⊙o⊙)...
Don't say "drop the novel" so casually. Haven't you heard of Murphy's Law?
I wouldn't drop it that easily. Unless you gave me the Sunflower Manual—then I might consider it.
o(∩_∩)o Haha~
It was only yesterday!
Comment: By the way, how many people knew that Harry Potter's old bumblebee guy was actually played by a different actor? I never noticed...
Reply: Um, sorry.
I don't understand what you mean. Maybe my IQ is too low.
I searched Baidu but got no results. What does "old bumblebee guy" mean?
Please explain.
Do you mean Professor Dumbledore?
It seems they changed actors starting with the third film.
Comment: Keep it up.
What's wrong?
No inspiration, so you're giving up?
Reply: Even without inspiration, I still have to finish writing it.
I went back to my hometown yesterday.
:-d
Comment: Haven't read it yet. I'm waiting for it to build up a bit first. I've read basically every HP fanfic except slash fic. I think you've got potential, so don't drop it?? As a student, I'll donate 100 to support you??
Reply: Thank you. :-d
Comment: Do you have any good recommendations?
Reply: Do you mean Harry Potter fanfiction, or just good books in general?
Comment: Harry didn't end up with Cho Chang, nor did he end up with Hermione. In the end, he got together with Ginny—I'm seriously speechless.
Reply: Yeah.
Everyone understands.
Ginny was just a character no one paid much attention to. If Ginny had been very pretty in the movies, there might have been fewer people saying this.
But then?
There's a picture of the four most famous girls in Harry Potter: Ginny, Hermione, Cho Chang, and Fleur.
Ginny is the most ordinary-looking one.
Speechless...
Comment: Fate! Such an ordinary title, such a plain cover, yet the content is so... interesting!!! It all started because I accidentally clicked the wrong thing while looking for a book, and I'm glad for that mistake—it meant I didn't miss this one! Author-kun, keep it up! Go for it!! Whatever you do, don't drop the novel! Try to get it published as soon as possible. Not being able to auto-subscribe is such a pain!
A question: On the mobile client, I didn't see a favorite option. Does adding it to my bookshelf count as favoriting it?
Also, if I donate to you now, can you definitely receive it?
Anyway, I'll send you a donation first!
Reply: It's my honor that you like this book.
On mobile, if it's on your bookshelf, that counts as favoriting it.
Thank you.
I can't receive it. This is my first book, so I don't even know how to receive donation money yet. Do I have to get it published first?
Question: Is your avatar Kuroha?
That's all I'll post.
Also, students, please donate only within your means. I'm happy as long as you cast recommendation votes, or you can check in to earn coins and donate those. Rich readers, please ignore this!
One more thing: I'm a moderator. Out of more than two hundred comments, I've carefully replied to almost all of them, as long as they weren't especially nasty insults.
Whether they were criticism, suggestions, opinions, praise, or people saying my novel was bad, I replied to them all, and they all received experience rewards.
So my experience points available for distribution this month are almost used up. There are only a few dozen left. In the future, some reader comments probably won't receive experience rewards anymore. Sorry.
