Arc 5The Philosopher’s Stone

  • Harry left the train station, bought the Leaky Cauldron from Old Tom, and began rebuilding it while recruiting Muggle hotel staff.
  • Harry opened Magic Castle, traveled to Tibet, and persuaded an old monk to destroy Voldemort’s soul fragment in his mind.

After Ron disappeared and Dumbledore was suspended, Harry confronted Riddle in the Chamber and destroyed the diary, leaving Hogwarts’ crisis unresolved.

  • Harry learned that the diary contained a piece of Voldemort’s soul, then used Snape’s Ageing Potion to evade his Trace and traveled to California to demand a camera phone from Steve Jobs.
  • Harry befriended Astoria Greengrass on the Hogwarts Express, and she was sorted into Gryffindor, and meanwhile, he dismissed Lockhart’s claims and pranked him during class.
  • Harry found the Chamber of Secrets, took Slytherin’s ring, and died when the Basilisk awoke, and afterward, he secretly used the ring to make the Basilisk petrify Mrs. Norris.
  • After Colin and Justin were petrified, rumors accused Harry of being Slytherin’s heir, and Harry frightened the school with wandless magic and a summoned snake at Lockhart’s dueling club.
  • Harry freed Dobby through Draco and avenged Big Black by leading the Basilisk to kill Aragog and the spider colony, and over the holidays, he visited Hermione, Cho, and Astoria.

  • Hagrid brought Hippogriffs to his first lesson, and after Buckbeak attacked Malfoy, Malfoy eventually calmed the Hippogriff and rode it, and afterward Harry saw a pink letter decorated with faint red hearts.
