"What if some humans defected to them?" Elise guessed. "Maybe it has nothing to do with the legends of Vihral. Perhaps they want to capture and tame wyverns."

"That's possible too." Anse stroked his chin in thought.

There were indeed quite a few wyverns in Jagged Forest. It was only natural for the Emerald Kingdom to tame them to fill the vacancies in their guard force.

Elise held the Teleportation Cube. "Taking control of White Stone Island is more important for now."
