Rule and Brains

The battle in Brarr Rock City had lasted an entire day and had been exceptionally chaotic. Even Osborne had been unable to learn the exact details and could only infer them from the general course of the battle.

He still could not figure out the mind flayers' objective, nor how that group of Githyanki had arrived.

Brarr Rock City had won, but the melee had swept through the upper, middle, and lower districts. Only the lowest level had remained untouched, and the losses were far greater than imagined.

Once escape became impossible, the mind flayers began abducting civilians and Professionals on a massive scale. They implanted them with mind flayer tadpoles before releasing them, while also unleashing huge numbers of Mind Flayers, throwing the entire city into chaos.

No one knew how many Mind Flayers and Parasites were in Brarr Rock City. Now everyone was in danger and dared not casually make contact with anyone.

Anse was not surprised. Mind flayers controlled by the Overmind seemed twisted, but in truth, they were very "pure."

Their lives revolved around two primary desires: rule and brains!

To them, the death of an individual was nothing to fear.

"Can you expose those monsters?" After Osborne finished speaking, he looked at Anse expectantly.

He considered himself a man with many friends, including quite a few spellcasters, but they were either too far away or had long since lost their Spellcasting ability. After thinking for a long time, he simply could not find anyone stronger than Anse.
