"Good!" He answered in a booming voice as he parried a heavy blow, as if this had been part of his plan all along. "So the holy light can illuminate every dark corner sooner... I give you permission to investigate ahead! I'll handle things here!"
He Xi didn't waste any more time. He gave Zoya and Bruce a meaningful look, and the group quickly followed the unsteady skeleton toward the depths of the manor, making their way inward along the dim corridor.
