Fivik held out a finger, and a thread of almost imperceptible silvery-white electricity danced at its tip.

The electric arc shot out and lightly touched Gu Shi, the little giant, on the chest.

After a faint crackle of electricity, a glimmer flashed across Gu Shi's blue skin. Not only did he show no sign of pain, he actually narrowed his eyes in comfort, a contented rumble rising from his throat like a kitten having its chin scratched.
At the sight of this, Gulu and Guma clenched their fists nervously. But seeing that their son was unharmed, they did not speak up to stop her.
"Mm, looks like he really can absorb it." An interested expression appeared on Fivik's face.
The electricity at her fingertip began to grow brighter and denser.
"Second one."
This time, a [Lightning Beam] as thick as a finger came whistling out.
Boom!
A blinding flash of electricity burst forth with a crackling explosion.
Fletcher shuddered in fright and instinctively took two steps back.
Yet Gu Shi, standing at the heart of the electric blaze, raised his head with an intoxicated expression on his face.
The violent energy, enough to turn an ordinary creature into charcoal, did not tear his body apart. Instead, it flowed into him along his skin like countless silver streams, deepening the pale blue of his skin.
"Interesting!" Fivik's interest was piqued, like a child who had discovered a novel toy.

Lightning Beams, each thicker and more violent than the last, bombarded Gu Shi one after another.
Gulu and Guma went from initial terror, to numbness, to utter shock. They stared blankly at their son as though they were looking at an entirely unfamiliar creature.
When the seventh bolt fell, a
