As night fell, a bonfire was lit in the open space at the center of Stone Creek Village.

The orange-red flames danced, driving away the autumn chill and illuminating the tired but relaxed faces of the villagers and adventurers gathered around them.

Cleaning up the battlefield and sorting through the spoils had taken a great deal of time. By the time they finished, it was already afternoon.
