Soon, Charlie arrived at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
Tall trees stood densely packed, sunlight barely piercing the thick canopy.
A mysterious and dangerous aura emanated from here, tempting one to uncover its secrets.
Just as Charlie was about to step inside, a rough shout came from behind him.
"Hey! Little wizard! Where do you think you're going?"
Charlie turned around to see a giant-like figure striding toward him.
The man was a full three meters tall, with messy black hair and a beard that nearly covered his entire face, revealing only a pair of gentle black eyes.
It was Hagrid, the Gamekeeper of Hogwarts.
"Mr. Hagrid," Charlie greeted politely.
Hagrid strode up to Charlie and looked down at him.
"Oh, I recognize you. You're Charlie, right? Harry's friend."
"Your Lumos Spell was quite impressive."
"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Hagrid," Charlie nodded.
"What are you doing here?" Hagrid's tone turned serious.
"You're not thinking of going into the Forbidden Forest, are you?"
Charlie blinked, putting on an innocent expression.
"I just wanted to take in the scenery. I heard the Forbidden Forest is quite spectacular."
"Looking at the scenery is fine, but you absolutely cannot go in," Hagrid shook his head sternly.
"The Forbidden Forest is dangerous. There are werewolves, Acromantulas, and many other dangerous creatures you can't even imagine."
"Even seventh-year students can't enter the Forbidden Forest without a teacher accompanying them. Let alone a first-year like you."
On the surface, Charlie nodded repeatedly.
Inside, he wasn't convinced. As far as he knew, werewolves only transformed on the night of the full moon. As for Acromantulas and the like, if he turned into a fire dragon and flew in the sky, would he really be afraid of a spider?
Yesterday, the Weasley brothers told him they'd been in there many times.
Same old saying—Hogwarts was a school. If there were real danger, would Headmaster Dumbledore have let this place remain all this time?
Still, he played along verbally: "I understand, Mr. Hagrid. I won't go into the Forbidden Forest."
"Good," Hagrid nodded with satisfaction.
"You'd better head back to the castle. Lunch will be served soon."
"Alright, I'm going back now," Charlie said obediently.
Hagrid watched Charlie's retreating figure, nodded contentedly, then turned and walked toward his own hut.
After walking a distance and confirming Hagrid could no longer see him, Charlie immediately changed direction.
The Forbidden Forest was huge—was he really worried about finding a way in?
He circled the edge of the forest for a long stretch, arriving at the forest on the other side of the castle.
This spot was far from Hagrid's hut and blocked by a series of small hills, so there was no risk of being discovered.

As soon as he stepped into the Forbidden Forest, he felt the difference in the air.
The atmosphere turned damp and chilly, sunlight almost entirely blocked by the dense canopy.
Beneath his feet lay thick layers of fallen leaves, rustling with every step.
Strange sounds came from all around—bird calls, insect chirps.
"Creepy enough,"
Charlie muttered, but he didn't stop walking.
He pressed deeper and deeper into the forest.
The trees in the Forbidden Forest were especially tall; some ancient oaks had trunks over three meters in diameter, requiring several people to wrap their arms around them.
Vines and moss crawled up the trunks, looking as though they had grown there for centuries.
After about half an hour of walking, Charlie finally found a relatively open clearing.
It was about the size of half a basketball court, surrounded by towering trees that formed a natural barrier.
The canopy above was a bit thinner, allowing a glimpse of the sky.
"This is the place," Charlie nodded with satisfaction.
He focused his mind.
His body began to change, scales gradually sprouting.
Its scales were a vivid scarlet, extremely smooth, with a ring of shimmering golden spikes around its face like a fringe.
Massive wings, a long body, sharp claws, and a majestic appearance...
In just an instant, the transformation was complete, without any pain, replaced instead by an indescribable comfort.
Charlie's perspective became very high.
Looking down, he saw that he had completely turned into a giant fire-breathing dragon.
The Chinese Fireball Dragon's body was even larger than he had imagined.
Its wingspan exceeded twelve meters, and its body length was seven or eight meters.
Its entire body was covered in brown skin, with a long neck and a sharp head, looking imposing and extraordinary.
Charlie flapped his wings excitedly, trying to fly.
The huge wings stirred up a gale as they beat.
The surrounding leaves rustled loudly, and some smaller branches were even snapped off directly.
Dead leaves on the ground flew everywhere, turning the entire clearing into chaos.
His first takeoff was a bit clumsy, but he quickly found his rhythm.
The massive body slowly rose into the air, flying higher and higher.
When he broke through the treetops of the Forbidden Forest, the feeling of free flight intoxicated him.
The wind roared beneath his wings, and the entire world unfolded beneath him.
He could see the full view of the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts Castle in the distance, and the mountains beyond.
"So this is what flying feels like? It's amazing!"
"Hey, Little System, can I still cast spells as a fire dragon?"
[In principle, a Wizard cannot cast spells in Animagus form, but the magic extracted by the system is not bound by these conditions.]
[However, Your Majesty currently cannot hold a wand or speak. Only when your spell level reaches four, unlocking silent and Wandless Magic, will it be possible.]
Charlie pondered this; he had asked the system during the summer break.
What were the differences between each spell level.
Level one was just being able to use the spell.
Level two was proficient use, roughly equivalent to the level of an ordinary Wizard in their fifth or sixth year.
Level three was being able to cast without incantations, silent casting.
Level four was being able to cast without a wand, Wandless Magic.
And level five was clapping your hands together, whatever you thought of came to be, with power like a forbidden curse, capable of destroying heaven and earth.
Charlie circled above the Forbidden Forest, enjoying the thrill of flight.
His huge wings glittered in the sunlight, his majestic posture inspiring awe.
The small animals in the Forbidden Forest were terrified by this sudden, enormous shadow.
Deep in the Forbidden Forest, Firenze was quietly hunting.
He had the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse, a Centaur living in the Forbidden Forest.
Firenze had just spotted a fat wild deer and was about to draw his bow.
Suddenly, a huge shadow flashed across the sky.
The deer was startled and fled, completely ruining Firenze's hunting plan.
He looked up at the sky in confusion, and through the dense branches, he could only see a huge flying object circling overhead.
"What is that?" Firenze frowned.
From his experience, this was definitely no ordinary bird. That size, that wingspan, it looked like...
"A dragon?" Firenze gasped.
Could Hogwarts have started raising dragons?
Firenze was baffled, but could only note this matter silently, planning to report it to the clan leader when he returned.
Up in the sky, Charlie, of course, had no idea he had been spotted.
After experiencing the thrill of flight for a while, he landed in the clearing and prepared to return to Hogwarts the same way.
The feeling of soaring freely in the sky just now lingered in his mind.
The strength and speed of the Chinese Fireball Dragon exceeded his imagination.
Just flapping its wings could stir up a gale around it.
As he left the Forbidden Forest, Charlie deliberately took a detour around Hagrid's hut.
Although he didn't mind being discovered by Hagrid, it would still be a hassle in the end.
