Skye was a little surprised.
RadioShack had once been the second-largest retailer in the United States. Now, they were barely staying afloat.
Coulson's team was currently reviewing information on Hydra aboard Osborn's modified Airbus.
"Coulson, are you sure joining Sky Hammer was Fury's order?" Agent May asked coldly from the side.
"I'm sure." Coulson's tone revealed none of his attitude. He had completely switched into work mode.
In fact, after that day, Coulson had contacted Fury several more times and used many different methods before finally confirming that it really wasn't some kind of scam.
Nor was there any infiltration or undercover mission. Fury genuinely wanted them to join Sky Hammer.
Coulson added, "This time, it's for real—and isn't Sky Hammer a good place too? We have them to thank for this. Otherwise, the world would already be in chaos, and who knew how many of our Agents would have died."
May said nothing more.
Objectively speaking, Sky Hammer had indeed been helping them all along. No matter how one looked at it, S.H.I.E.L.D. was the one with the problem.
Skye said from the side, "I know what you're thinking. After Osborn caught me back then, I had doubts for a long time too."
"How exactly did you get involved with Osborn?" Coulson asked.
That was also what everyone wanted to know. Skye seemed quite familiar with Osborn's upper management.
By now, they basically all knew about Skye's background—though only the parts recorded by S.H.I.E.L.D.
It was hard not to wonder whether Harry had somehow learned of Skye's origins through some channel.
When Skye saw everyone looking at her in unison, she felt obligated to dispel their suspicion and
