The criminals here were either depraved or brutal.

Now, a group of ferocious-looking aliens sat before Peter, though their expressions were all remarkably shocked.

"You're saying Xandar has several billion people?" A bald, blue-skinned alien was utterly shaken.

Well, although they were all vicious criminals, they were conventional carbon-based lifeforms and looked a lot like Earthlings in every sense.

They could communicate in English without any difficulty.

On his first day in prison, Peter had received a warm "welcome ceremony," though Spider-Man had been the one they were welcoming...
