Osborn Group, the Battleship Pioneer.

Nearly more than half of the several-kilometer-long hull had been devoted to carrying this epoch-making electromagnetic Railgun. Its enormous barrel could accelerate a shell to one five-hundredth of the speed of light.

To overcome the immense recoil generated when the shell left the barrel, the Gigaton Railgun had been designed as an axial weapon and could only be positioned along the ship's centerline.

"There's nothing wrong with the weapon itself. Its speed isn't even at the limit yet, and the fire-control system still needs optimization—actually, the entire weapon needs optimization. Honestly, I expected the hit rate to be low, but not this low."

Phineas spoke as he reviewed the data.

This was no ordinary Railgun. The shell was not merely a solid block of Alloys; it also contained trace amounts of Gravity Iridium, along with a Nuclear Pulse Thruster.

The shell carried its own small gravitational field. Once it came within a thousand meters of the target, that gravitational field would cause both the shell and the target to shift.

However, Gravity Iridium's primary function was to serve as a Gravity Sensor. As long as the shell was within ten thousand meters of the target, the Gravity Sensor would adjust the direction of the Nuclear Pulse Thruster and correct its trajectory.

A nuclear pulse was, in essence, the use of a nuclear explosion for propulsion. In other words, it contained a Hydrogen Bomb.

The shell left the barrel at a speed of more than five hundred kilometers per second. Once it drew close, a tiny sun rose, and the already incredibly fast shell accelerated once more.

It missed again—but after the shell streaked past several times, Ultron's spacecraft had been dragged into a stall. It spun wildly through space, completely out of control.
