Under the stimulation of the Terrigen Mist, Maximus's Inhuman genes had receded, yet he had gained pure Psychic Power. The people at the Genetic Council considered this phenomenon "degeneration."
But honestly, to Harry, this was a kind of "evolution."
It held tremendous research value.
As for technology to develop human psychic potential, Harry had only obtained from the system a genetic trait modification that granted biological psychic organs. However, that modification merely increased the probability of an individual developing noticeable Psychic Power.
But if the base probability was already ten decimal places below zero, raising it by a few percent meant very little.
The significance of psychic organs was that they allowed the company to produce Bioelectronic Brains equipped with psychic organs. This enabled the consciousnesses of vast numbers of users with only faint Psychic Energy to gather together into a Psychic Network, achieving long-distance communication.
But once Maximus's awakening process could be replicated, Harry would be able to mass-produce genuine Psionics.
In theory, they only needed to knock out an Inhuman's Inhuman genes while they underwent Terrigenesis, and they might become pure Psionics like Maximus.
Of course, they would definitely be far weaker than Maximus, but this was still a major breakthrough.
"Sir, Gene Knockout has begun. Terrigen Mist absorption rate is beginning to decline."
The Nanobot cloud simultaneously modified these Inhumans' bodies, fundamentally blocking the pathway through which the Terrigen Mist transformed into superpowers within them, causing it to gather within their consciousnesses instead.
This method could only be used on Inhumans who had not yet undergone Terrigenesis. If Gene Knockout were performed on someone like Black Bolt, his additional superpowered organs might undergo uncontrollable mutations. That would not be pleasant.
"Vital signs normal; consciousness levels increasing—degree: slight..."
Harry frowned—his hypothesis had been confirmed.
