"Enemy fleet detected in the system!"
The Gravity Sensor immediately detected the Kree fleet passing through the Jump Point. These vessels were enormous; among them were aircraft carriers identical to the Dark Star, as well as super Battleships with wingspans stretching dozens of kilometers!
Unlike the Dark Star, these Battleships did not merely serve as Aircraft Carriers. They were equipped with massive numbers of missile launchers!
Upon detecting Osborn Group vessels within the system, the Kinetic Turrets turned in unison and locked onto the fleet—
"Fire!"
Shells streaked across the stars, hurtling toward the Osborn Group like an overwhelming storm.
Yet while the shells were still in flight, a blinding silver-blue Tachyon Lance struck their Flagship before the Kree sensors could even detect it!
The hellish beam pierced straight through the Flagship's shields and armor in a single blow!
"Tachyon Lance hit the target. Enemy Flagship destroyed."
"Flagship damaged!" The Kree truly were a warlike race. Neither the terrifying Light Lance nor the damage to their Flagship dealt any blow to their morale.
Meanwhile, the Kree shells finally reached the Osborn Group fleet.
Propelled by their engines, these missiles continued accelerating and adjusting their trajectories. Every single missile contained an enormous amount of high-energy material!
Silent fireworks bloomed through space. Shells struck the shields and scattered blossoms of flame, almost ridiculous against the vastness of space—but any one of those shells landing on a planet would cause devastating damage!
"Sir, their warheads are loaded with some kind of High-Energy Explosive. They are highly effective against vessels below Dreadnought-class.
The good news is that their hit rate is below one in ten thousand."
