The Ten Rings on Wenwu's arms were some kind of weapon from another world. Besides their immense power, they granted Wenwu immortality and enhanced his physical abilities.
Frank watched the Arm Rings flying toward him at high speed and quickly formed a shield in his hand!

The heavy impact echoed through the valley, and the immense force smashed a gap into the shield made of nanomaterials.
"Looks like your shield isn't much good," Wenwu said as he approached Frank.
Frank shook his head helplessly. Nanomaterials were versatile and highly adaptable, but their defensive capabilities were far inferior to the armor he wore.
He had only formed the shield out of habit.
"In that case, it looks like this is where you die."
After Wenwu spoke, a large group of soldiers clad in scale armor surged over the hill behind him. They looked as though they had stepped out of... some period drama.
Frank actually relaxed at the sight. The troops covering the mountainside did not put much pressure on him.
"Say, sir... are you still living in ancient times?" With that, Frank connected to East Country communications. "Target sighted. There are a lot of them. I might not be able to handle this alone—you understand, right?"
There was a brief silence on the other end before someone replied, "Understood. The enemy is an organized criminal gang. We approve an orbital drop, but prioritize the deployment of the Earth Defense Department's Third Division."
"Copy—deploy the troops."
Frank's attitude made Wenwu deeply uncomfortable. He frowned and raised his hand while the soldiers behind him waited for his command.
Yet the soldiers waited and waited, never receiving Wenwu's order. Instinctively, they looked to their leader, only to see him staring up at the sky.
