When Wenwu woke again, the sight before him shook him to the core.
A small mountain had been completely shaved bare, but even though the surrounding area had lost its original appearance, he could still recognize the waterfall at the center.
That was where he had met his wife, and where the entrance to Great Luo Heaven lay.
Now, Osborn Group employees covered the bald mountaintop. Massive machinery stood in the center, looming over the small waterfall like claws. The water seemed to be flowing backward, forming an enormous vortex in the sky.
Industrial equipment covered the mountaintop, and beyond the perimeter tracks, several giant Warships could even be seen.
"You're going to invade Great Luo Heaven?" Wenwu asked anxiously, nearly forgetting that one of his hands had already been cut off.
Beside him, Frank shook his head. "This isn't an invasion. It's exploration—you were looking for this place too, weren't you?"
Wenwu did not answer Frank. He had been looking for that place. His dead wife's voice echoed through his dreams every night, begging him to save her, beyond that tightly shut door in Great Luo Heaven.
But a smart man would never let others know his weakness...
"Hey, quit pretending. We raided your old base from top to bottom. I even read your diary."
Frank's words stunned him. His hideout had been raided?
"Anyway, I know you're looking for that place. Whatever you plan to do, my boss is willing to give you a chance.
"You want to go in, don't you? We'll give you that chance."
With that, Frank placed the Ten Rings before Wenwu.
"You'll have to earn that chance yourself. The things are right here. I need to get back to work."
Frank headed for the door, then paused before leaving and added, "Oh, right.
