Overall, it had happened suddenly and violently.

Because the Federal Government lacked jurisdiction over local areas—or rather, because all official authority in the United States was severely constrained—less than three hours after the outbreak, most regions had turned into urban warfare zones. The zombies were playing on the melee server, while the civilians were playing on the gunfight server.

However, Ant-Man and Wasp quickly breached those military bases and fortresses from within. The zombies drove tanks onto the streets to hunt for food, and the Pacific region fell.

Then the Avengers mobilized.

Hope warned them, but they turned a deaf ear. Ultron had destroyed Sokovia, and Tony had begun to doubt himself. Then Captain America convinced him with a single sentence: "We're together."

And then... they lost together.

Harry glanced at him and offered no comment on the grudge between the two of them.

Wanda had yet to discover her own whereabouts. She remained at her post monitoring Psychic Energy, accompanied by the Synthetic Vision.
