"That was... another Thanos?" Banner muttered.
Like a god of war, the Executive Officer delivered the final blow and grabbed the Infinity Gauntlet from the ground.
Zombie Thanos stubbornly tried to crawl back up, only for the Executive Officer to kick him into the dirt. The massive blade flashed, severing all four of his limbs.
The oppressive figure and cruel, merciless fighting style reminded Banner of the Titan who had beaten Hulk until he could not fight back at all...
And that Titan had actually been reduced to a limbless stump. The armored giant before them was clearly even more terrifying.
Yet that giant was merely an employee of the Osborn Group...
The survivors suddenly felt a hint of suffocation—what kind of company could accomplish something like this?
The soldiers began clearing the battlefield while the Executive Officer sent the Infinity Gauntlet and Stones into the laboratory.
"Sir, the plan was carried out very successfully. This Thanos was much easier to deal with," Oyin summarized.
Harry said casually, "That is why the saying goes: use Thanos to deal with Thanos."
The zombie virus was actually a double-edged sword. It might seem as though even the slightest injury could turn someone into a zombie, but were zombies really that powerful? The Infinity Stones had to be driven by the soul and consciousness.
A Thanos infected with the zombie virus could only drive the Infinity Stones through instinct. Clearly, he could not bring out their power, especially the most troublesome Reality Stone, which had failed to display any of its proper strength.
A round of fire suppression followed by a well-timed ambush had been enough to take him down.
The Osborn Group did not have some ridiculous habit of refusing to cut off heads or hands and only aiming for the chest.
