"All targets have ceased activity," a soldier said over the comms channel.

The soldiers slowly entered the battlefield. Ruined walls and shattered structures lay everywhere, and robot wreckage littered the ground.

The battle seemed to have entered its final stages.

"Stay alert. They may have self-destruct functions—shit, they're starting to flash red!"

"Armored units, prepare to withstand the blast!"

Boom!

The self-destruction of those miniature Arc Reactors lit up all of Manhattan. From afar, it looked like fireworks being set off.

But it was far less beautiful for those caught within it.

The explosions caused most of the buildings in Stark Industries Park to begin collapsing. Many people who had no time to flee could only watch helplessly as those glittering decorative structures came crashing down on them—

As the dust settled, those who had thought they were doomed discovered that several red power armors had erected protective barriers for them. Massive chunks of stone were held firmly at bay, though the weight kept the armored figures from moving.

The power armors created a safe zone amid the ruins. No one had been pinned down or struck by falling debris.

"Gentlemen, ladies, we need to maintain this position until rescue arrives. Please do not run around or move."

The red power armors bore the Osborn Group logo.

"The battle is over. Sweep the combat zone." Frank received the order from Harry.

Likewise, Norman received Harry's message, and the National Guard began advancing toward the wreckage zone.

"Damn it..." As the soldiers moved forward, the horrific sight before them made them curse under their breath.

The situation at the scene was grim, but fortunately, power armors were conducting rescue operations. There was no need to wait for cranes; the power armors could easily lift away chunks of reinforced concrete.
