Abomination vs. Green Giant

"Mutant abilities can generally be divided into six categories: Energy-type, Enhancement-type, Transformation-type, Psychic-type, Space-type, and Control-type. Most mutants possess only a single ability, but a small number possess multiple abilities. Take your teacher Logan, for example. He possesses both the Enhancement-type ability of Self-healing and the Transformation-type ability of Beastial Bone Claws.

"Besides ability classifications, mutants are also ranked by level. At present, mutant levels are divided into five tiers: V1 Weak Ability User, V2 Special Ability User, V3 Strong Ability User, V4 Great Ability User, and V5 Super Ability User..."

Storm taught at the blackboard. After all that chaos, the teachers had finally tucked their underwear back inside their pants and remembered that their proper job was teaching and educating students.

Mutant School's classes differed somewhat from those of ordinary schools. Mornings were dedicated to traditional theoretical lessons, which sounded rather boring. Afternoons, however, were generally for practical classes. Though they occasionally covered mutant common knowledge like this, most of the time was spent teaching shared methods for mutants to control their abilities.

Of course, sometimes the teachers would simply let the students freely explore their abilities themselves. They only needed to stand by to prevent accidents and offer occasional individual guidance.

There were five days of classes a week, with no morning or evening self-study sessions. American campus life was actually pretty good. The only annoying thing was that they could not enter or leave the school whenever they wanted. After all, they were mutants, and their identities were somewhat special.

And over the past few days, Lu Yifang had not seen Wolverine Logan again. He had probably already left. Going by the plot, he should have gone to search for his lost memories.

That left Lu Yifang somewhat disappointed, because he had wanted Logan to teach him some fighting techniques. He had always kept White Queen's words in mind, and mutant abilities came in endlessly varied forms. If someone in this world really showed up with some enhanced version of the Divine Hand of Seduction, Lu Yifang would at least be prepared.

And Wolverine had spent over a hundred years either stabbing people or getting stabbed. When it came to fighting, he would undoubtedly make an excellent teacher. Most importantly, Logan was incredibly... sturdy. Tough as hell.

Yes, in the literal sense. In a crisis, Lu Yifang might very well instinctively use his ability during this kind of training, which could hurt other people.

That was also why Lu Yifang could not ask Cyclops and the others to teach him. They were not like Logan, who did not care about getting hurt.

After a full day of classes and dinner, the three returned to their dorm room together. Before long, Bobby and John got into an argument over the television.

John wanted to use the TV to play games, while Bobby wanted to watch the movie she had just gotten, Batman v Superman. Bobby had been looking forward to this superhero film produced by the currently hottest DC Comics for a long time. She had always been a loyal Batman fan.

John deeply despised Bobby's idea. A mutant, worshipping a fictional comic-book character? What a joke. The two refused to back down and nearly exploded right there in the room.

But while they were still arguing, the New York TV Station suddenly switched channels on its own, and a Female Reporter appeared on the screen.

"What's going on?" John and Bobby looked utterly confused.

"Seems like an emergency news broadcast." Lu Yifang leaned closer as well.

"This station has an urgent report. Half an hour ago, a terrifying monster suddenly appeared on the streets of New York. It is rampaging through the streets and destroying everything in its path. Please look—the monster has appeared." As the camera shifted, Lu Yifang saw a bald giant over three meters tall, with shit-yellow skin, demolishing the streets of New York.

Cars clogged the streets in a long line, and the bald giant happily treated them like toys, tossing and smashing them to his heart's content. The only thing he had not done was beat his chest and roar like a gorilla to show off his strength.

The police had naturally arrived long ago. Gunfire rang out without pause, but their pistols were no different from children's water guns against that huge brute. Before long, they were simply feeding themselves to him.

The Military finally arrived late to the scene. Two Armed Helicopters circled in the sky, while the soldiers on the ground rolled out grenade launchers. But neither Gatling Guns nor grenade launchers could hurt the thing in the slightest. Instead, they only made him angrier and more berserk.

"My God, what kind of monster is this? Who can stop him?" the reporter said in a trembling voice.

Just as her words fell, a figure suddenly dropped from one of the Armed Helicopters and smashed a human-shaped crater into the asphalt beside her.

The startled Female Reporter swallowed hard. Just as she gathered her courage to take a look, a large green hand suddenly reached out. A green giant climbed out of the crater, shaking his head as though trying to clear it.

"Monster!" The Female Reporter staggered back in fright and accidentally fell to the ground. The camera shook as well; clearly, the cameraman was trembling.

"Hmph!" Green Giant glared at the Female Reporter and the camera, but did not attack. Instead, he turned and roared as he charged toward the shit-yellow bald giant.

"Abomination!"

"Hulk!"

Abomination noticed Green Giant Hulk as well and instantly lost interest in the police officers. Like a madman, he charged straight at Hulk. The two giants grappled together, hammering each other with fists and kicks, slamming their bodies into one another, even smashing their heads together to see whose was harder, roaring at each other to see who could shout louder.

Anyone could see the hatred between the two monsters. They wanted nothing more than to tear each other into pieces. But the main result of their first round was... a three-hundred-percent increase in New York's demolition efficiency. You could consider that extra one hundred percent the chemical reaction generated by two such beings coming together. Physically speaking.

"What are these two monsters? Mutants? They're ugly as hell, especially that shit-yellow one," John said with a frown. As a mutant capable of controlling an ability, John felt superior to ordinary people. The thought that he might belong to the same kind as those two hulking monsters was simply unacceptable to him.

"Enhancement-type abilities usually do not cause major changes to the body. Although many Transformation-type abilities leave behind beastial features, this is way too exaggerated. Besides, Professor X and the teachers showed no reaction today, so they probably have nothing to do with mutants," Bobby analyzed calmly. When it came to brains, she was still a little smarter than John.

"If they have nothing to do with mutants, then we can just watch the show. Bobby, let's make a bet and see which of those two big guys wins," John said. Hearing Bobby's conclusion and finding it reasonable, he immediately relaxed. His troublemaking nature surfaced again.

"Stop arguing. Watch carefully," Lu Yifang said impatiently just then.

For some reason, an inexplicable sense of unease rose in Lu Yifang's heart. The street being shown on the television looked strangely familiar.

"This place is too dangerous, too terrifying." The Female Reporter's trembling voice came through again. She really was dedicated. Even in a situation like this, she had not fled for her life. Reporters truly were creatures willing to risk their lives for a big scoop.

"To everyone currently watching this broadcast, do not come to my location—Manhattan's Hamley District in New York. And to the friends living here, may God protect you!"

"Manhattan's Hamley District." Lu Yifang's pupils constricted, and his body began to tremble unconsciously. Wasn't that where Howard Orphanage was located?

Bang! Lu Yifang shoved the window open. Under John and Bobby's puzzled gazes, he leaped from the third-floor dormitory room.

"Yifang, have you gone crazy?" John and Bobby rushed to the window in panic, only to see that Lu Yifang was not injured at all. Instead, he shot away like an arrow released from a bow, vanishing into the night in an instant.

Lu Yifang did not notify Professor X and ask him to have Cyclops bring out the supersonic aircraft hidden beneath the sports field. It was not because Lu Yifang did not want to trouble Professor X. He simply thought the supersonic aircraft was too slow.

That was right. When Lu Yifang focused on speed, a supersonic aircraft could not compare to him at all. After all, he could convert every force he encountered while moving into backward propulsive force.

That included the resistance that hindered an object from moving at high speed. As long as he changed the direction of that resistance through Vector Control, Lu Yifang could turn resistance into propulsive force.

Without resistance, Lu Yifang's speed would never slow down. This allowed his acceleration to break the sound barrier in an extremely short time. If other factors were ignored, Lu Yifang could even approach the speed of light infinitely closely—though that would require a very long time to accumulate acceleration.

"Director Emma, Katie, you must be safe," Lu Yifang muttered anxiously. At that moment, he was charging toward downtown New York, trailing powerful air currents created by his extreme speed.
