But plans could not keep up with changes. Originally, he was supposed to appear in the Queen's bedchamber tonight while Jade remained hidden. Once Fred showed up, Ron would work from within while Rosa went with the flow and surrendered the throne.
Instead, that old bastard Garp had disregarded discipline to protect the Queen's safety, making Ron follow him out to wipe out Baroque Works. That introduced an uncontrollable variable into the plan.
"I wonder how the Queen will deal with that old bastard's sudden whim. If she can't pin the murder of the Queen on the Affiliated Nations, this crisis can't be resolved..."
