The angle of that slash was extremely tricky, timed precisely for the moment Kuma swung his palm to deal with Law's attack, leaning his spine forward and leaving his right heel without support.

"This guy's killing technique has already reached the pinnacle."

Kuma could not help feeling alarmed by Dorte's strike. Without some serious skill, even if one noticed the attack's path, one could only watch helplessly as one's head was severed due to losing balance.

However, he happened to have some serious skill.

His huge palm, already fully extended, pushed through the air. A burst of force erupted from his arm, sending Kuma's nearly seven-meter-tall body flying backward and allowing him to evade the slash in midair.

The Paw-Paw Fruit's ability did not require the process of bending and straightening his arm.

The icy blade skimmed past the back of Kuma's head, cutting a gap into the corner of his hat. The light flames burning upon it carried not the slightest warmth; instead, they were as biting as frost.

Twisting his body, Kuma spread his palm downward.

A metallic tremor burst through the air. In an instant, all the brilliant illusions vanished, and only then did Dorte's figure rebound from the void like a flickering meteor, his feet scraping tightly across the floor and leaving a black streak in the blink of an eye.

Before he had even steadied himself, Dorte called out softly.

"Leave it to me!"

Law grinned, pressing together the index and middle fingers of his left hand while bending his ring and little fingers, then pulled through the air before him.
