From afar, the sea looked as though it were boiling, heaving without end.
The terrifying vortex swept everything around it inside, then surged toward the sky under some unknown force. Nature's terror was on full display at this moment. A water column over a thousand meters wide shot through the air, instantly scattering even the clouds on the horizon.
The disturbance upon reaching the surface was already this immense. One could only imagine the commotion deep beneath the sea, within the Adrian Trench!
The seawater's violent vibrations alone were enough to tear steel apart and wipe out all living things.
"So what is this? A man-made Upward Sea Current?!"
Chaton held himself steady with one hand on the railing, staring at the dreadful water column ahead, unable to hide the horror on his face.
If someone happened to be at the center of a sea current that shot into the sky like this, they would probably be crushed to pieces on the spot.
Suddenly, a dark shadow appeared overhead.
Chaton focused his eyes, then shouted the next second, "Watch out! A Sea King is falling!"
He knew Pluton had a shield, but the sight of a Sea King as large as a mountain falling from the sky still made him scream in alarm.
Boom!!
The blue-green Sea King with an elephant's head slammed straight into Pluton's shield, the deafening impact ringing through the air.
Fortunately, what Chaton feared did not happen. Not only did the shield remain intact, but the Sea King's brain burst from the force of the impact. One of its eyeballs even flew away.
"So it was hiding below!"
Momousagi showed no reaction, her eyes narrowing.
This Sea King was clearly not native to the Adrian Trench. Sea Kings had to follow the basic laws of nature
