After venting for a while, Danzo felt much better and asked Ryoma, "What's going on with the Uchiha Clan?"
Ryoma replied, "Judging by their actions, they seem to want to join Uchiha Ryobu!"
Danzo snorted. "Once a Leaf shinobi, always a Leaf shinobi. Deserting is asking for death!"
"Keep an eye on them. Find evidence that they're colluding with Uchiha Ryobu!"
"Yes!"
After Ryoma left.
Another of Danzo's confidants approached and told him quietly, "Lord Danzo, someone from the Dark Ninja World is here. He wants to work with you!"
The Dark Ninja World was a group even more unscrupulous than the rogue ninja world, specializing in destruction.
Rogue ninja at least still wore forehead protectors and followed rules, but the ninja of the Dark Ninja World were pure evil and destruction.
Yomi's Group, which had released Mōryō, belonged to the Dark Ninja World.
Danzo wanted nothing to do with the Dark Ninja World. They were a lawless bunch.
Even Liao Wu kept his own power in check.
But when he thought of their current predicament, with the Five Great Shinobi Nations beaten into ceding territory and paying reparations to Liao Wu...
Danzo decided to make use of the Dark Ninja World.

At the Hakimi Sect, Liao Wu released the Waterfall Tree and planted it in the very center of the sect.
The Waterfall Tree was essentially his clone, an existence much like a tailed beast. It grew too slowly inside his body.
The Waterfall Tree needed to absorb natural energy at all times, and the amount a human body could take in was far too small compared with the tree.
Planting it on the island gave it a much
