Deidara tilted his head slightly, staring in disbelief at Sasuke, who had appeared behind him.
Even the pain of his chest being pierced could not compare to his shock.
He had clearly seen his microscopic spider bombs blast Sasuke to ashes.
Sasuke explained, "Although I couldn't see the bombs, my Sharingan could distinguish Chakra through its color."
"Those small bombs made of Chakra looked like an entire cloud of smoke to me. I also knew where you were standing—the height the small bombs wouldn't cover."
"As long as I could see the bombs, avoiding them was easy!"
"Urgh..."
His chest had been pierced, but no vital organs had been hit. If he received treatment quickly, Deidara could still be saved.
Deidara was unwilling to accept it. "Just now... I clearly saw... you being eroded by C4. That was..."
Sasuke explained again, "That was an Illusion Technique."
"So that was it! The Sharingan again—it's truly my nemesis! It was the same with Itachi, and it's the same with you!"
Ignoring Deidara's complaints, Sasuke said, "I avoided your vital points. Tell me where Itachi is."

The Deidara Sasuke had pierced with Chidori suddenly turned into a Clay Clone. The real Deidara emerged from the back of the Clay Eagle and grabbed Sasuke's leg.
Pointing at his left eye, Deidara gave a cold laugh. "Ever since I fought Itachi, I've been training my left eye to deal with the Sharingan!"
Deidara's left eye had not actually been destroyed. Only its outer telescope-like structure had been damaged, and he had kept his left eye shut the entire time.
He only opened his left eye and closed his right one when he faced Sasuke in their crucial showdown.
Ordinary people truly would not have noticed the
