Obito found Sasuke.
Sasuke and the members of Hawk Team were itching for a fight.
When Obito came in, Sasuke fixed him with a stare. "When are we going to the Leaf Village to get revenge?"
Sasuke still remembered that the Leaf Village's leaders had ordered the slaughter of the Uchiha Clan. They were also the ones who had turned Itachi into an outcast and branded him a rogue ninja.
One way or another, Sasuke would kill them.
Obito spread his hands. "Don't be so impatient!"
Sasuke snorted. "Impatient?! Every time I think of those people in the Leaf Village enjoying the peace Itachi gave them while still calling him a rogue ninja, I want to destroy that disgusting village!"
Sasuke had gone out once before and encountered some Leaf Village ninjas on a mission. He had heard them talking about Itachi and him.
Word that he had killed Itachi had spread.
The people of the Leaf Village were simply relieved. A dangerous rogue ninja was dead.
Sasuke was a rogue ninja too. The Uchiha were nothing but trouble.
They should all just drop dead!
Hearing that had set Sasuke's heart ablaze. He had wanted to destroy the Leaf Village right then and there.
Obito smiled to himself. Sasuke really was too naive.
At his age, wind was just wind, and clouds were just clouds.
The world was either black or white.
He would never compromise.
He was both melodramatic and innocent.
Put someone like that to work in a factory, or give him a good beating, and he would soon settle down.
No one had given Sasuke that beating yet, and Obito had no intention of teaching him to grow up.
He meant to use Sasuke's naivety.
