The earth-element Special Profession player stood in the middle of the road, feet apart, and bent to press both hands against the ground.
"Everyone, move back!"
Several nearby players hurriedly pushed their stone carts out of the way.
The next second, the earth-element player activated his skill.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Dull tremors rolled beneath their feet.
The ground, left pitted and uneven by the Ten-Thousand-Bone Giant, looked as though an invisible hand had pressed down on it. Raised mounds swiftly collapsed, while soil surged in from all sides to fill the hollows.
A wave of earth rolled forward along the road.
In barely a dozen seconds, dozens of meters of rough ground had visibly flattened.
The player raised his hands again and pressed downward.
The still-loose roadbed sank sharply. The soil compacted so firmly that even the tiny stones mixed into it were embedded in the ground.
The players leveling the road with shovels stopped.
"Holy crap, that skill's way too good for roadwork!"
"Ten of us have been at this for ages, and he did more with two blasts."
"Isn't using an earth-element profession for construction basically cheating?"
The player withdrew his hands and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Controlling such a large area of soil at once was clearly no easy task, and it had consumed plenty of Mana Value. Still, he was pleased with the smooth road beneath his feet.
Edmund happened to be inspecting the area. He saw the whole thing and stopped at once.
"What's your name?"
The player turned around.
"My ID is Mike Long."
A player carrying stones nearby couldn't help laughing.
"Mike Long? With how well you control earth and dig underground, you might as well call yourself Burrowing Dragon."
Laughter broke out around them. Mike Long brushed the dirt off
