Bulma looked at the object. "What? This is it? Let me take a look." She went over and touched one of the legs of the enormous thing.
She knocked on it and felt it over. Who would've thought it wasn't metal at all? "What's it made of? It doesn't seem like metal! This... wait, what is this thing, exactly? Can you explain it a little more clearly?"
Chen curiously hopped up onto it and inspected it. It seemed pretty sturdy. Mr. Popo told them, "About a hundred years ago, the Kami told Mr. Popo about his past."
"The Kami had lived on Sabiton ever since he was little. Mr. Popo asked him why he lived in such a remote, uninhabited place."
He thought back for a moment. The Kami had told Mr. Popo, "I don't know why I was there. I've never been able to remember. All my memories from before that are gone. I only have a letter that says, 'I'll be there soon. Wait for me.'"
Bulma didn't understand at all, so Mr. Popo explained, "The Kami had been waiting for his parents ever since he was little."
The Kami had also said, "There was a house there, so I believed my parents would come. But I waited a very, very long time, and they never came. How long did I wait? Twenty years, I think! Or maybe thirty."
"Eventually, I gave up and left the house on Sabiton. I still went back to check on it from time to time, but it never changed over all those years."
Krillin asked Mr. Popo, "Mr. Popo, what does all that have to do with this?" Mr. Popo replied, "You're so impatient. The important part comes next."
"Looking back on it now, there was something strange about that house. I
