Son Goten smiled. "You have no chance of beating me. You can't defeat me as I am now. I don't even need to move to know that."
Recoom scratched his head. "I thought you were going to say something interesting."
Recoom turned to Burter. "That piece of trash just told the biggest joke ever!" Goku heard what Son Goten had said and wondered, Something's off about Goten. He's not the kind of person to brag. Could he really not know how strong the enemy is?
Vegeta was tense behind them. "C-could it be...? N-no... It can't be... That Low-Class Warrior, Son Goten, could never become the Legendary Super Saiyan."
Recoom was already growing impatient. "I don't have time to keep listening to your stupid jokes. I'll make you lie down and stay there." Meanwhile, Vegeta thought, A Super Saiyan appears only once every few years...
He can break through the bottleneck that no matter how talented a warrior is, they can't surpass. How could that be? I thought it was just a silly legend. If the legend is true, then I'm the only one who could become a Super Saiyan.
Recoom stopped talking and went straight into a Mach Fist, charging at Son Goten with a single blow. But he hit nothing. Recoom was startled and glanced around.
Even Burter hadn't seen what happened. Jeice's Scouter had malfunctioned. The two of them immediately turned around—and found Son Goten standing behind them. "When did you get there?"
Everyone was stunned. None of them had seen Son Goten move, but Vegeta's eyes had followed him. Goku looked at Son Goten too. "Looks like Goten has gotten even stronger."
Son Goten glared at Jeice and Burter. "You two are Recoom's accomplices. Take my advice and run while you can. Otherwise, you'll regret it."
