Ginyu stood still, waiting for Son Goten to kick him. As Goten flew in and his foot was about to connect, Ginyu suddenly vanished. Goku rushed a few steps in that direction, but Ginyu burst out of the ground with an underground tunneling technique and punched Goten.
The punch knocked Son Goten to the ground. Ginyu flew in again, ready to stomp down on him, but Goten quickly rolled aside. Ginyu's foot missed him and struck the ground.
Goten sprang up and kicked at Ginyu. Ginyu staggered backward, ran several steps, then flew toward the mountain island. But there was a tree in his path, and Son Goten followed close behind.
Ginyu circled the tree once. Son Goten flew straight toward him, meeting Ginyu's foot head-on, and Ginyu kicked him away!
Ginyu flew above Chen as fast as he could. When Chen rose up, Ginyu intercepted him and spun him into a tornado, kicking him down onto the river's surface and raising a huge wave.
To his surprise, Son Goten used the wave's momentum to charge back up at Ginyu, who was standing on the island's summit. Ginyu stomped off the ground, shattering the earth beneath his feet, and the two plunged into another chaotic clash.
They moved incredibly fast, giving each other no quarter as they fought. At last, they landed a heavy blow on each other and fell back.
Son Goten wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "That really hurt. Vegeta, that bastard..." Ginyu watched him. "You've got some moves. This kid really does have some strength. Too bad Vegeta fled in the middle of the fight."
I have to finish this quickly, or everyone's hopes will be dashed. Meanwhile, Vegeta was heading that way, too.
