Sun Wukong didn't head outside right away. He waited for Tang Sanzang to get dressed, then went out with him and Ye Chen. When Tang Sanzang saw the devastation outside the room, alarm immediately showed on his face.
"What... what happened here?" Tang Sanzang looked at the temple, which had been completely destroyed by the fire, and tears welled in his eyes.
"Perhaps the fire burned down the entire temple. It looks like it was meant to reach our little house, but the wind changed direction at the last moment and burned down the temple instead."

"May all be well, may all be well." Tears streamed from the corners of Tang Sanzang's eyes. It was the first time he had seen so many people die before him, and naturally, he found the sight unbearable.
"Goku, Ye Chen, I must perform Supernatural Deliverance for these departed souls. The two of you should step away for now and look for the kasaya." Without waiting for Sun Wukong or Ye Chen to respond, Tang Sanzang sat down and began chanting scriptures.
