Ye Chen looked at the Immortal Pill in Guanyin Bodhisattva's hand. He didn't say anything, but sensed the aura coming from it. Only then did he confirm that it really had been transformed from Sun Wukong.
"But that Black Bear Spirit is full of schemes. How can we make him believe this pill is real?" Ye Chen looked up at Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Although his relationship with Guanyin wasn't particularly good, at least in such a critical moment, Ye Chen was certain she wouldn't do anything out of line.
"I have my own way." Guanyin replied coolly, then put the Immortal Pill away. "Tang Sanzang, take the White Dragon Horse and hide somewhere farther away. Don't let the Black Bear Spirit see that you're still nearby."
Ye Chen glanced at Guanyin, then at Tang Sanzang, but Guanyin seemed not to have noticed him. After arranging where Tang Sanzang should go, she fell silent.
Ye Chen shook his head helplessly. He knew Guanyin Bodhisattva had a deep prejudice against him, so he stopped trying to make conversation. He flew into the sky and concealed himself among the clouds.
Once Ye Chen was airborne and Tang Sanzang had gone some distance away, Guanyin suddenly transformed. Looking down, Ye Chen saw that a gray-robed monk now stood where Guanyin Bodhisattva had been.
Same disguise again. Isn't Guanyin worried that everyone will figure out this is what she looks like when she disguises herself as a mortal? Ye Chen rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath.
The gray-robed monk seemed to have heard Ye Chen's murmur. He glanced up, but paid Ye Chen no mind and walked straight to the entrance of the Black Bear Spirit's cave.
Ye Chen stuck out his tongue. He knew Guanyin had probably heard what he'd just said. He
