After Sun Wukong got what he wanted, he recited an incantation, cast an invisibility spell, and slipped out of XieZhi Cave.
Once outside, Sun Wukong stood at the cave entrance and shouted, "Sai Taisui, you monster! Hurry up and hand over Golden Palace Lady, or I'll smash your cave!"
Hearing the commotion outside, Sai Taisui picked up his weapon, the Xuanhua Axe, and led the lesser demons out to see what was going on. Once outside, he brandished his axe and said, "What's your name? You've come here alone to meet your death!"
The two of them raised their weapons and fought. After more than fifty exchanges, the monster gradually began to tire. He claimed he hadn't eaten and wanted to go back and fill his stomach before fighting again.
Sun Wukong realized the monster was using hunger as an excuse to go back for the Golden Bells. So he didn't stop him, letting him return and telling him to eat plenty, or he'd run out of strength again.
The monster went into the cave. Sun Wukong put away the Golden Cudgel, thought about what was going to happen next, then stood at the cave entrance, grinning and chuckling to himself.
Once inside, the monster told Golden Palace Lady to hurry and bring out the Golden Bells. She asked at once, "Great King, what's happened? Why do you need the Golden Bells?"
Sai Taisui said, "A mad monkey showed up outside. He even dares to covet your beauty, my lady! I'll take these Golden Bells and make sure he never leaves alive." With that, he turned and went back out.
Golden Palace Lady now worried whether Sun Wukong could withstand the power of the Golden Bells. She feared he might be hurt, and also wondered whether he could escape.
