Eight-Headed Serpent's Self-Destruction

The twin blades couldn't inflict any real damage on the Eight-Headed Serpent, but they did stop it from escaping.

After seeing the four Susanoo, the Eight-Headed Serpent had felt a sense of foreboding. Sure enough, it was so busy dealing with the Susanoo that it didn't even have the energy to heal its wounds.

Using all its strength to knock aside the Susanoo's attack, the Eight-Headed Serpent panted slightly. It knew that if it didn't figure out a way to break through soon, its fate would likely be grim.

"Are you really determined to fight me to the death?" the Eight-Headed Serpent panted, its eyes wide as it stared at Uchiha Chen. It had no idea how to deal with Chen, who kept coming up with one unexpected move after another.

Uchiha Chen glanced at it but didn't even bother responding. Instead, he focused his attention on Miroku, observing her movements.

He noticed a unique quality in Miroku's hand seals, something he had never encountered before. If he could absorb and merge with this distinctive energy, his strength would increase once again.
