The New Era and the Old Era

Uchiha Chen smiled and shook his head. He hadn't expected that Madara, who had once been such a force to be reckoned with, had changed. From now on, the world would never again see the Uchiha Madara who could take on an entire army alone. All that remained was a feeble old man clinging to the status quo.

"It seems time hasn't only worn down your body, but your courage and resolve as well. Just like your body." Uchiha Chen tightened his grip on his long blade. "If that's the case, then let me put an end to everything that's rotted away. At least that'll be a more glorious death for you!"

As it happened, Uchiha Madara had once been Chen's idol. Back when Chen had watched Naruto, he had been captivated by Madara's life.

That imposing figure who could take on an army alone and dominate an entire era had filled Chen with envy. More than once, he had imagined himself becoming the supremely powerful Uchiha Madara, cutting a swath through the Naruto World.

Even after Chen came to the Naruto World, he had unconsciously modeled his actions on Madara's style. But now, his idol had grown old.

Just as Orochimaru couldn't bear to watch his teacher grow old and die, Chen had hoped Madara would become a timid, shrinking old man.

If that were the case, Chen would rather put an end to Uchiha Madara himself.

Uchiha Chen tightened his grip on his long blade, his gaze icy. Chakra surged from his body, crackling with the roar of thunder.

Layer upon layer of lightning coiled around Chen's blade, radiating a terrifying aura.

"Rest in peace!" Uchiha Chen roared, swinging his long blade at Madara's real body.

"Damn brat!" Uchiha Madara snorted. He naturally wasn't going to sit back
