"This is such a hassle. What should I do?" Uchiha Chen wondered to himself.

He couldn't kill Obito. The Black Zetsu inside him wouldn't rebel until Madara Uchiha summoned the Infinite Tsukuyomi. If Chen killed Obito, the Black Zetsu inside him would die too.

Black Zetsu's death would inevitably draw Madara Uchiha's attention. He was a key figure in summoning the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Chen liked having everything under control. The kind of helpless life he'd lived as a child was something he never wanted to experience again.

He couldn't kill them, but he couldn't let them reveal his existence, either. Chen scratched his head. Suddenly, his eyes lit up.

"Right, I still have Cottontail God!" Chen clapped his hands, remembering the Mangekyō Sharingan he'd redeemed but never used.

Cottontail God was the ability of Body Flicker Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan. It was known as the Strongest Genjutsu, capable of directly changing a person without anyone else noticing. Once cast, it was impossible to resist.

With that in mind, Chen turned to look at Obito and Sakura, who had already fallen into despair. Chen had just forcibly broken Kamui, so Obito wouldn't be able to use it again to send Sakura away anytime soon.

Chen had taken away Obito's last resort. The two of them were now little more than lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

Chen's eyes changed. The windmill-shaped Tomoe slowly twisted, revealing a brand-new Mangekyō Sharingan.

"This... What is this?" Obito's eyes widened as he stared at Chen's eyes in disbelief. He'd never known that the Mangekyō Sharingan could change.

According to the Stone Tablet in the shrine, a person's Mangekyō Sharingan could never change after Awakening. The only exception was transplanting someone else's eyes, but even then, the eyes would remain the same. They wouldn't change.
