"Stop wasting time. If you just want my soul, then don't say another word. If you really have something to tell me, just say it plainly." The Man in Black sounded impatient. Clearly, he didn't want to keep playing games with his system.

"What are you laughing at? Didn't your previous hosts ever tell you how disgusting your laugh sounds?"

The system inside him fell silent for a moment. The Man in Black could clearly sense the demon forcibly suppressing its anger. If it could, he was sure it would snatch away his soul at the first opportunity.
Unfortunately, after years of testing each other, the Man in Black had learned little about the system. He still didn't know where it came from, but he had figured out one thing.
As long as the host didn't agree, the system couldn't take his soul by force. Likewise, it couldn't harm the host or forcibly seize anything he had obtained.
In other words, the system couldn't force its host into a situation where death was certain, but it could still hide things within the rules.
The Man in Black couldn't help suspecting that the system was setting him up with this mission. It was obvious from the way it was acting that it knew something.
But it refused to say anything, and there was nothing he could do about it. The system was still operating within the rules; it had found a loophole. If it wouldn't talk, he could only trade world fragments for information.
"Do you really think I'd tell you for free?" The system chuckled. "Think about it: if you die, I'm the one who benefits. Why would I tell you?"
"Name your price. How many world fragments do you want?" The Man in Black was helpless. His
