Son Goten and Light joined forces, clearing a vast area around them. After nearly a year of trying, Son Goten's Energy Points had finally reached � ten thousand. At last, he could exchange them for Kaioken, the skill he had dreamed of for so long.
On the exchange list, Kaioken cost � ten thousand points. He immediately tapped it, and 100,000 points vanished in an instant. A new energy surged through his body. This was Kaioken.

"Skill Multiplier—1–2 (The current host can withstand ten times gravity and activate 2x Kaioken, but this will put some strain on the body.) Note: Kaioken increases power by a multiplier."

Kaioken came with four special attributes. Reduced Consumption was self-explanatory: while Kaioken was active, it reduced the stamina he used. The strain on his body stayed the same, but at least it would let him withstand a greater burst of power. Even so, after activating this attribute, it seemed he would only be able to use up to 4x Kaioken.
Instant Burst seemed to let him unleash a surge of power in a split second, briefly increasing his Combat Power while reducing the strain on his body. The boost, however, lasted only a very short time.
A chance to play weak and catch the enemy off guard with a surprise attack—this skill might prove useful.
Son Goten studied the Absorption attribute closely. It seemed that when he hit an opponent, he could absorb some of the energy they shed, allowing him to sustain his Combat Power for longer.
Countermeasure let him move faster for a while after deactivating Kaioken, helping him cope with the fatigue that followed.
