Son Goten swung the light sword in his hand, bringing it down against the opponent's scales. They were so thick and heavy that it was impossible to leave a scratch.
Sparks flew, but not a mark appeared on the monster snake's lower jaw. There was no way to get inside that way. The snake seemed to have noticed Son Goten, too. Seeing those enormous nostrils, he decided this might be worth a gamble.
Son Goten rose into the air and flew straight into the enormous opening that looked like a cave.
He deliberately ignored the fresh gases pouring out of it, acting as if he couldn't sense them at all. He flew deeper inside, into a vast, cavernous space.
The place was terrifying. Everything was pitch-black, as if the darkness could swallow anything. That was what made it so frightening.
After spending some time in that space, Son Goten used the Combat Detector to find the creature's target. The giant monster snake might have incredible Combat Power, but it couldn't pinpoint a person's exact location.
In other words, the monster was unbelievably powerful against groups, but it couldn't do nearly as well against tiny creatures like him. That gave him an opportunity.
There was no way he could kill the creature now. Even its weakest parts might have defenses as strong as the heavens.
He couldn't kill it, but he could fly inside and find his enemy. After flying for a while, Son Goten reached the snake's chest and spotted a man there. He was entangled in sticky mucus, suffering terribly, and his Combat Power had dropped considerably. Still, he was doing his best to break free.
The man stood there, panting, when he saw Son Goten approaching slowly with a light sword in hand.
"Your time is up, sir.
