Their strength intertwined and clashed. Even where their hands met, a cracking sound rang out. They traded blows without yielding an inch. This was what ultimate power felt like.
Neither of them would accept the other's strength, and both fought with everything they had. Master Roshi, especially, suddenly kicked at his opponent, slamming his knee into Tien Shinhan's stomach. Tien Shinhan suddenly let out a roar and looked ahead. The eye in his forehead fired a beam of light that struck Master Roshi right between the eyes.
Master Roshi hadn't expected his opponent's eye to emit such a beam. Even he was hit by the attack. But it did prove one thing: this guy's Combat Power had indeed surpassed the Crane Hermit's. Master Roshi knew it for certain.
His Combat Power had always been comfortably greater than the Crane Hermit's, but he hadn't expected the man's disciple to be so unusual. Three eyes alone made him unlike an ordinary person, and he could even fire beams of light. Master Roshi could even sense the faint possibility that Tien Shinhan might approach Son Goten's level—though it was only a possibility.
After the beam struck Master Roshi, he immediately retreated. As he did, he suddenly swung a palm forward, launching a massive Energy Ball that slammed into his opponent.
The Energy Ball seemed to arrive before it was even fired. It was clearly a powerful technique, letting him gather energy in his hand and release it all at once.
